Well, at least it's a start. There are now 7 kids bikes available for sale. Please do anything you can to help fight this embarassingly atrocious law. Politicians really should be ashamed of themselves for this.
(Seattle, WA. March 26, 2009) In an effort to clarify the latest news on the CPSIA lead ban as of March 26th, 2009 BBR has contacted the four major motorcycle manufacturers (Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda) regarding which models and components are currently available for purchase at the dealerships. Fortunately some of the previously banned models and components are now available for purchase at your local dealership. Below is an updated list of models that are now available from the manufacturers.

As many of you know, we had planned on opening Browns Camp on Friday, March 20. However, due to snow conditions (it's not melting and we're still getting more) we have not been able to get into Browns Camp to complete the work necessary to get the facility ready for visitors. Therefore, Browns Camp will not be opening in March. I will e-mail as soon as anything changes, in the meantime please continue to check the website for updates.

For those of you familiar with the ridiculous law in legislation that would prevent the sale of motorcycles aimed at kids due to their lead content (because kids sooooo often EAT THEIR MOTORCYCLES!!!), there's a rally in Olympia, WA at the Washington State capital building on Friday, March 13th, 2009.
Show up and show your support for those opposing this atrocity. Shame on you, lawmakers, for wasting our time and money. It's embarassing that we actually have to oppose this.
