Currently, our forum is a private forum for members only. If you like to join, feel free to contact one of our members about meeting up with us to ride or meet us for lunch, typically in Beaverton. The best way to do this is to introduce yourself in the Looking for People to ride with in Portland Area thread on Thumper Talk and state your interest.
Forum membership is restricted to individuals who are 18 and older, who ride motorcycles, and who live in the Portland Metro area. We require that you have either met us in person or, if you are a friend of a current member, you can have that individual vouch for you to become a member.
It is important to understand that our forum is moderated, however, in respect of our First Amendment rights, it is completely uncensored. You do not have the right to not be offended. While most of our members have families and we know what boundaries to respect and what levels of appropriateness to maintain within mixed company, our forum is completely uncensored, hence the requirement that members are 18 or older.
Also, you should know that we prune users from the forum who do not consistently stay active with the site. We want contributors, not occasional lurkers.
It's a good idea to email echo@nwdirtriders.com and let us know who you are to expedite the account approval process.
